This charge refers to the fact that several of the colonies had been obliged from their establishment to submit their laws to the King for his approval. This power, the Declaration implies, was never consistent with the fundamental principle of just government: consent. And by adding "laws the most wholesome and necessary for the public good," Jefferson indicates that the laws that were vetoed were intended to accomplish the fundamental purpose of government stated in the preamble, "to secure these rights." One important example of this charge was King George's refusal to comply with various attempts by the Colonies to abolish the slave trade, as Jefferson explicitly stated in his original draft of the declaration. Basically this definition says that the king refused to accept laws that were needed by the colonial Americans. In the case of slavery, people were forced to work in harsh conditions; while having a wage that hardly puts food on the table. If you recall, Bacon's rebellion was the major consequence of the harsh conditions put on by slavery. Something to note about Bacon's rebellion is that white's and blacks were united in this rebellion against the Great Britain's policies.

In our day what issue could be just as sensitive as slavery? The answer is allowing illegal immigration and workers. I have nothing against foreigners, I have something against the government allowing them to come in and rob the system. Illegals have no idea that they are aiding the hand that drops the dollar by raising the minimum wage. In this case I feel sorry that these illegals will be let down by the collapsing dollar. The government is allowing slavery, much like King George. We don't call it slavery because they are getting paid, but what good is money when the government is working to destroy it. You are indirectly becoming a slave because you are working for nothing. Our workforce and welfare system is over saturated with people that aren't suppose to be there. The sad thing is, the people have demanded the government to protect our borders(Which is one purpose of government) and they have done the opposite. This is like when the colonials demanded King George to abolish slavery. Just imagine, you are starving to death because some elite completely ignores your obvious needs. When a government decides to not care about what the people think, it is time to get rid of it. I urge all of Americans to demand the end to slavery that government is putting us through. If they do not stop the flow of illegals and keep printing money, our dollar will crash our country will turn into another war zone. Unite against the empire within our midst! Take back our independence!
